The Voice of One Crying in the Wilderness

AnaiRhoads.org - I have never thought of myself as a particularly religious, or even spiritual, guy. I grew up in the Church but it seemed like I was always at odds with the conventions that I heard from the pulpit, or the ideas presented in study groups, or I thought that the music sucked or some such thing.
I did enquire about becoming an Episcopal priest, at one point in my life, but I was told by the clergyman, with whom I spoke, that I was "better suited to be a prophet".
"What is the benefits package with that?" I queried.
And now I find myself at odds with the Church and the State - as well as, perhaps, most Americans and Zionists and, God knows, who else.
Nevertheless I can no longer fight this urge to scream, "Repent America!"
A friend and priest told me that prophets don't "tell the future, they read the signs of the times and suggest that the path leads to doom." In that sense I guess I am a prophet.
Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, not for homosexuality (as you are most likely to hear from the pulpit), but for haughtiness (pride), fullness of bread (wealth), and primarily for their complete lack of compassion for their own in need.
Katrina serves as a warning shot across the bow. The Federal response to Katrina pretty much cinches our annihilation.
"God, if I can find fifty righteous people in America will you spare America your wrath?"
Here is a sign of the times. The U.S. has an economy like a house of cards. It must seize control of the oil in Iraq, Iran, and probably Venezuela to keep oil reserve cash in US dollars. If it fails to do this then the US economy will crumble as Asia and Europe pull their reserves and put them into another currency.
The Democrats, who the American people installed to impeach Bush and end the war, have recently been "let in" on this dirty little secret. That is why "impeachment is off the table". If impeachment hearings were to be convened then it would come out that we are in an illegal war. Then the American people would demand that we pull out of Iraq. And then Nancy Pelosi's constituents, and the entire rest of the country, would be in deep economic shit.
I am not an economist, but I do believe that it is precisely the President of Iran's desire to put his country's 50+ billion U.S. dollars (oil reserve cash) into Euros that has Bush chomping at the bit to invade - not the threat of nukes.
And if the truth be told then I suspect that most of Europe and Asia would hate to see America sink like the Titanic. Rest assured that George W. Bush has a nearly complete, worldwide, consensus on this matter. If our economy fails then theirs will feel the repercussions for a long time to come.
Another interesting sign of the times: A 750 mile fence between the US and Mexico. The stated purpose of keeping Mexicans at home is ruse. The real reason, I believe, can be found in a Pentagon report from 2004 (now extinct on the web). The report, in essence, says that North America (and much of Europe) will have a Siberian climate as soon as 2012. Why? Because of global warming and the naturally occurring (equal and opposite reaction) freeze. The Pentagon assembled the best scientists Federal money could buy and they took them seriously.
Now this isn't Greenpeace or Al Gore or some other left-wing, environmental group issuing the warming warning, it's the Pentagon.
So what's the fence for? Well, if we can keep the U.S. economy propped up until 2012 and then an "Act of God" wipes us out, well, everybody wins. The fence, then, is to keep us from overpopulating Mexico when the ice hits the fan.
REPENT AMERICA
So my call is for America's repentance. We drive over sized, gas guzzling vehicles, giving no thought to the international consequences or the impact on the environment. We want ever bigger homes (which we will not be able to heat in a Siberian climate). We turn a blind eye toward the billions of dollars in oil which the US is currently stealing from Iraq. We refuse to hold Dubya and his clan accountable (which now, apparently, includes the Dems in the House and Senate). We are haughty, full of bread, and we lack even a semblance of compassion.
Give me fifty, truly righteous, reasons that God should not destroy America?
