AnaiRhoads.org - A warning was announced by Italy Interior Minister Giuseppe Pisanu Friday, stating there could be some conflict during the upcoming scheduled visit to Rome by U.S. President Bush.

According to the Italian news agency ANSA, Pisanu was quoted saying,"Grave threats are looming, which concern us." It was not clear if the threats were terrorist related.

Bush is expected to arrive in Italy on 04 June and leave the following day. The President arrives just two days after the country celebrates Republic Day.

Brimming crowds are expected for the celebration and again for Bush's visit. Demonstrators plan to protest against the U.S./U.K. invasion and occupation of Iraq, as well as Italy's support of the war.
