Veriana Media - Just hours after the beheading of South Korean translator Kim Sun-il in Iraq, an audio tape was released by Jama'at al-Tawhid and Jihad threatening to kill Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi.

The voice on the tape, published on a Islamist website, is believed to be that of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

"We will carry on our jihad against the Western infidel and the Arab apostate until Islamic rule is back on earth," Zarqawi forewarned on the audio tape Wednesday.

"As for you, Allawi, sorry, the democratically elected prime minister, we have found for you a useful poison and a sure sword. We will pursue our mission to the end," Zarqawi threatened.

Allawi is expected to be formally sworn in as Prime Minister when the occupation ends on 30 June. Many fear the recent attacks are only a glimpse of what is to come as the handover draws near.
