Childhood Atrocities

AnaiRhoads.org - Headlines across California screamed "Predator run out of town" this past week, giving my soul some hope.
That is until I delved further into the story and realized the incompetence of our justice system.
On August 5th, California hit a child predator with their toughest stance yet, temporarily forcing the man to stay 9 miles away from children in California.
No longer will he be able to go to supermarkets, banks, gas stations, and just about any other place a child may visit.
Jack McClellan, 45, has gained nationwide infamy after admitting to millions of viewers that he likes to photograph young girls at parks, daycare centers, and swimming pools. Even filming children at Wiggles concerts, a children's band from Australia.
However, not only does the pedophile like photographing young girls between the ages of 3 and beginning stages of puberty, but he likes to post the pictures on the internet for him and other predators to fantasize over. And not only does he post the pictures, but he gives tips on the best places to find young girls.
Of course, his attorneys have argued that he has not done anything wrong. He even admitted that he has never physically touched a young child. His defenders say it is a free country and he has the freedom to express his desires as long as he doesn't act on them.
But I digress.
The demon is already acting on his desires, which makes him a predator who needs to be locked away from society, not banished from one state. He will just go to another state in order to commit the same atrocities.
Every time he takes a picture, he is acting on his desire. He is committing the act of child molestation. He is molesting them with his eyes, his thoughts, and when he posts the pictures on the net, he is allowing other predators the freedom to act out their desires.
It is a never-ending cycle of child abuse.
After County Superior Court Judge Melvin Sandvig issued the temporary order, predator McClellan rushed to the airport where Anthony Zinnati, a furious attorney who is a parent and requested the restraining order, rushed to catch him before he left California.
The devil McClellan grinned at his order and then took a flight to Chicago.
And the cycle of his abuse begins again.
When are the citizens and parents of this country going to scream enough and force the law to put this man behind bars. He is a danger to our society and a monster to our children.
It is time we stand up and fight for the rights of our children.
We must demand from our elected judges and officials, who work for us not the cities and counties, to keep child sex offenders like McClellan behind bars. The justice system needs to quit releasing predators into society.
For instance, law enforcement officials arrested a young man from Oklahoma after he molested two children multiple times. The state charged him with seven counts of sodomoy and indecency with a child (among other charges). His attorney plea-bargained, so the justice system, relieved that their would be no trial—saving the state time and money, sentenced the predator to eight to 10 years in a minimum-security prison.
The justice system released the convicted pedophile four years later because of "good behavior."
The predator left Oklahoma and made his way across the red river where he molested four more children before law enforcement officials arrested him. Yet, we keep people with drug addictions, a known psychosis that leads to physical addiction, behind bars for life.
Where is the justice in this situation?
Sadly, this is not the first time our justice system has failed our children.
So, if we do not protect our children, then who will?
