"If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich." -- John F. Kennedy

Minimal Bleeding Post-Birth

Dear Anai,

I would like to thank you for being there, answering any questions I had during my pregnancy. I had a baby girl, Mia, on Saturday afternoon.

I have noticed that I am bleeding nowhere near as much as I did after my first baby. Is this an indication of anything?

Once again, thanks.

Lee-Anne

Dear Lee-Anne,

What a lovely name! I have always loved the name Mia. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!

Bleeding varies post-birth as much as each pregnancy varies for each individual during her lifetime. However, it may be a good idea to bring this up during your next scheduled follow-up visit with your doctor.

If you have a prepared birth story and would like to share it with the visitors here, please e-mail it to me and I will add it to the birth section.

Enjoy your new addition. I'm sure your daughter is thrilled to have a little sister!

Thank you for writing,

Anai Rhoads
