Volunteers Needed to Help Friends of Animals Table at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.

15 January 2010

AnaiRhoads.org -- Join Friends of Animals (FoA) for a tabling event in front of the National Zoo! We will be raising awareness about the plight of captive primates and encouraging zoo visitors to support Primarily Primates, FoA's animal sanctuary in Texas.

The tabling event takes place between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, 23 January and Sunday, 24 January. Everyone is welcome!

We will be meeting in front of the main entrance to the zoo - 3001 Connecticut Avenue, NW. Look for our table by the lion statues. If you have trouble finding us, please call Chris Ford at (520) 904-0415.

For more information about the event and to RSVP, please contact Anai Rhoads, FoA Media Specialist, at (703) 969-8560 or anai@friendsofanimals.org.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Primarily Primates currently houses several hundred primates and other nonhuman animals. To learn more about the sanctuary, make a donation or sponsor a chimpanzee, please visit our web site at A href="http://www.PrimarilyPrimates.org">http://www.PrimarilyPrimates.org.
