The following was sent to AnaiRhoads.org by a concerned party. In this post, Kevin Chambers attempts to justify his actions by claiming the cubs are "running, wrestling, and exploring", but he neglects to say how the cubs were shipped from Indiana and how the cubs reacted to their trip to New York.
As you can see, not all of Jack Hanna's animals are from zoos and other accredited organisations. Some are from breeders like this:

Hello to everyone from the Big Apple,
Well, We all arrived safe and sound in New York. We've been put up
in a VERY nice hotel in midtown Manhatten. We have a great suite
and the lion cubs, Atlas and Denali, love it. I can't really blame
them since it's been a very long road trip and they were so releived
to have a huge room to turn their motors on in. They spent a couple
of hours just running, wrestling, and exploring. They'll sleep well
the rest of tonight, that's for sure!!
I see from the recent e-mails that I'm a big black eye for FCF. Oh
well, everyone has their right to an opinion and I've been called a
lot worse. If someone wants to call me an "exploiter", it's their
right. I've always wondered....what is an exploiter? Doesn't
everyone who owns any sort of animal fit that description? I'll
readily admit that I make money off of some of my animals. It goes
right back into caging and care for those very same animals.
Everyone with a pet exploits their animal for their love, too. If
either of those things are wrong, then I happily wear the badge of
an exploiter, though I sometimes wonder if it isn't the animals that
exploit me rather than the other way around. You just can't explain
that to a person who's never cared for an animal.
There is only one thing I find disturbing about that website
article. That being that this animal rights person was fed her
information from someone on the FCF list. The facts about me listed
in that article come directly from my bio in the FCF website. Any
one has access to that. But, you see, the appearance on Good
Morning America was never announced anywhere other than in my e-mail
to the FCF list. It was not mentioned on either ABC's website nor
on Jack Hanna's website. The truth of the matter is that we will
NOT be appearing on Good Morning America. It's sad to think that
one of our own is in bed with the animal rightists.
We ARE appearing on Letterman Wednesday night, but instead of Good
Morning America, we will be on CNN at noon Wednesday.
The boys are certainly geared up to put on a great show and I hope
you enjoy seeing them.
