Shelley Bluejay Pierce is widely known to readers in many online magazines, blog sites and in printed materials world-wide. As an investigative journalist, she reveals the hidden truths inside political, environmental and societal issues. Often featured in tribal newspapers across the USA, she shares insight into the current affairs within the American Indian communities. Indigenous cultures, wildlife and environmental issues are at the core of her writing and her own personal stories and experiences frequently appear throughout much of her writing.
Katz Freed is a civil rights attorney, with a Federal and State practice, sworn into the Supreme Court. As a child of a Holocaust survivor, Freed has always been an advocate for human rights, and practiced law in order to give people a recourse to protect their civil rights.
Timbre’ Wolfe is a long-time political activist and musician. He holds a Bachelors in Music composition having studied with Michael Hennagin (a rare “full ride” Curtis Institute of Music grad and student of American composer Aaron Copland). For two years Wolf edited Play, a progressive regional church music newsletter. Timbre’ Wolfe’s catalogue consists of hundreds of songs and essays, “Speechless” – a screenplay, and the unpublished novel “Breakfast of Loathing”.
Gabriele Zamparini – After completing his Law studies Zamparini moved to the United States. He worked in New York as a freelance journalist and filmmaker. Zamparini currently lives in London with his two cats Oscar and Walt. His work can be found on the The Cat’s Dream
Christian McPhate is an opinion editor and column writer for the Wichitan newspaper out of Wichita Falls, Texas. He has written an extensive assortment of essays, tackling controversial issues within the arena of politics, religion, capitalism, media, healthcare, and social conformity.
Melinda Tankard Reist is an Australian author, speaker, commentator, blogger and advocate for women and girls. Her third book is Getting Real: Challenging the Sexualisation of Girls (Spinifex Press, September 2009), just launched in the US and UK. Melinda has recently initiated a new grassroots campaigning movement, Collective Shout, to expose corporations, advertisers and marketers who objectify women and sexualise girls to sell products and services. She supports global projects addressing poverty, violence against women and trafficking.
